Mort Caldwell was a successful     until  when he contracted a severe case of ME/CFS. Now mostly housebound Mort had his wife snap a picture that in its rawness expresses the difficulties this disease can impose. This is the face that lurks behind the smiling (if often awkward) faces of ME/CFS patients that adorn photo albums.
